Objectives
- Drive brand awareness and engagement through localised activations in and around Manchester
- Generate organic social reach through a highly resharable activation
-
Begin to embed Lucky Saint within sports other than running
- Walking is the second most cited activity behind running on Strava (Strava, 2025)
Route plan
- Nice countryside route near Manchester, which could end at a pub that had Lucky Saint on draught
- After comparing several routes I found a 3 hour loop around Strines which is 30 minutes from Manchester Piccadilly and has rolling hills, rivers, great views of both the Peaks and Manchester and a brilliant indipendant pub stocking Lucky Saint nearby.
- I used a weekend to reccie the hike twice, ensuring it would be both safe and popular for the hikers!
Event assets
- An event, poster to ensure high engagement ahead of launching the event
- Beer matt souveneirs that doubled as bar tokens
- 2 x disposable cameras
- A pint of Lucky Saint and some merch, on us
- I led on the route navigation and safety briefing
- Captured content for our social media channels throughout, showcasing how the day went
Our hikers captured the day with the provided cameras:
